These photos were taken on May 4th, 2020 at my house in Lake Arrowhead. The subjects are my nephew Bentley and our house dog named Leo. This is my first time ever trying to shoot Pictorialism and it was very difficult to do so. Pictorialism is for the shots to point out the beauty of the subject but also a unique style of editing. Such as out of focus, shaky, or even high/ low exposure.
These photos remind me of growth, growth within the body and life. Just like from the Letters of a Young Artist, Growth is important within life, its how we progress our work. Even though this style of photography is not my style, it helps me grow in areas where I am not really familiar with.
